There are various periods in which languages develop, and the structure of the root and stem structures of words reflected in various works during these periods attracts considerable attention. In this study, the comparative study of derivational suffixes that were found and brought to light as a result of the analysis and examination made regarding the past periods is evaluated. The studies conducted by various Turkologists within and outside the borders of the country are of great importance in this context. The reflection of derivational suffixes that are in a busy or continuous use area in Turkish has remained as a legacy. Therefore, this study seeks to answer the question of how much derivational suffixes have been preserved from the Old Turkish Period to Turkish in Turkiye’s. In this context, important findings regarding derivational suffixes in Turkish in Turkey are also determined and explained.
