On Production of Basic Turkish Words and Texts in Teaching Turkish to Foreigners

Abstract

Knowing a foreign language has become a necessity in the globalizing world. Countries are constantly developing and growing. Knowing a language has become important in order to ensure communication, which is a necessity of development. Countries have opened many institutions and developed teaching methods in order to teach their own language. He has opened institutions and organizations in Turkey and abroad in order to teach his own language. One of the oldest institutions opened in the field of teaching Turkish to foreigners is Gazi TÖMER, which was established under the Rectorate of Gazi University. Gazi TÖMER is the first official institution opened to provide Turkish education to foreigners. Later, many universities opened TÖMERs within their own structure. Some of the opened TÖMERs have their own course and workbooks.
